Product Description

Dengie Pure Grass Pellets is 100% naturally grown British meadow grass that has been dried and extruded into pellet form. With no added sugar, the grass pellets are high in fibre and suitable for horses, ponies and other animals, such as cattle, sheep, goats and camelids. Highly digestible because pure grass pellets are naturally sweet, they promote a healthy digestive system and are ideal for animals suffering from poor teeth or dental issues when soaked, such as diastemas.

Made from pure British meadow grasses, including Fescue, Rye and Meadow Grass, they are naturally low in starch and free from artificial flavours, molasses, preservatives, straw, fillers and binders. Dengie Pure Grass Pellets can be fed as a partial or total hay/grazing replacer. They can be used alongside another chopped fibre or in snack balls so small quantities are consumed at any one time. However, if feeding in larger quantities, the grass pellets must be soaked before feeding to reduce the risk of choke – as a pure fibre pellet, the Pure Grass Pellets can absorb lots of water and therefore swell.
