Fibre-Beet is a combination of Speedi-Beet and highly digestible fibre, including alfalfa and oatfeed, that is quick to soak in warm or cold water.

Product Description

Fibre-Beet from British Horse Feeds has the benefit of Speedi-Beet but with extra fibre and protein from the added oatfeed and alfalfa. By combining sugar beet pulp with alfalfa and oatfeed, digestibility is improved helping the horse’s gut.

Ideal for the performance horse that needs more calories and quality protein to promote condition, top line and energy levels but less starch and sugar, Fibre-Beet is great for adding more fibre to their diet without having to contend with the extra ‘bulk’ that hay or haylage would give.

When it is soaked – it can be ready to eat in as little as 15 minutes when soaked with warm water – it encourages horses to drink, particularly when combined with electrolytes, and aids rehydration, which is important for horses in full work, such as endurance or eventing.

Being low in starch and sugar, Fibre-Beet is ideal for horses and ponies prone to laminitis or those that need a diet that controls starch intake as part of a balanced diet.
